04 — Process

From first idea to launch day.

  1. 01

    Discover

We talk through the idea, audience, platforms and budget. You get a written scope and an honest estimate.

  2. 02

    Prototype

A rough, playable or clickable build early on, so we find out what's fun or useful before polishing anything.

  3. 03

    Build

Short milestones with a working build at each one. You see real progress, not status reports.

  4. 04

    Ship & support

Store setup, release builds, and post-launch patches — because launch is the start, not the finish.

06 — FAQ

Questions, answered.

Something else on your mind? Get in touch.

Is Anglia really just one person?

Yes. Design, programming, art direction and publishing are all handled in-house by one developer. For specialist work like music or voice, trusted freelancers can be brought in — always with your approval.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Indie games (especially 2D, roguelike, puzzle and management), desktop tools for Windows, macOS and Linux, and focused mobile apps. Smaller, well-defined projects are the best fit.

How is pricing handled?

After a short discovery call you'll get a written scope with either a fixed price per milestone or an hourly estimate, whichever suits the project.

How long does a project take?

A playable prototype can take a couple of weeks; a small commercial app or game typically takes a few months. You'll get a timeline before anything starts.

Who owns the code and assets?

For client work, you do. Ownership of source code and assets transfers to you on final payment, as set out in the agreement.

Can you help publish my game on Steam?

Yes — store page setup, demos, achievements, leaderboards, cloud saves and release builds are all things Anglia has done for its own titles.
